First Wedding Anniversary

What happened on our first Anniversary? Honestly, I lost my precious wedding ring three months after our wedding. That was the most painful moment I've ever experienced in my life! Many times I regretted my clumsiness so much. Lots of times I wished that I could turn back the time before I lost my wedding ring. Numerous times I was so in pain whenever I passed by Tiffany & Co stores. Countless times I prayed to God that I could find my ring again. And every time I felt like I was missing something in my marriage since I lost my wedding ring. On our first anniversary, my hubby got me a wedding ring, again! My Tiffany wedding ring is back! It's exactly the same type and same design!

I won't ever forget the moment when he put my left hand on his chest..
I won't ever forget the moment when he surprisingly put this ring onto my forth finger for the 2nd time..
I won't ever forget the moment when I was crying so hard after I saw this ring back on my forth finger..
I won't ever forget his warm expression when he smiled at me after seeing me crying..
I won't ever forget everything happened in that morning!

We did not celebrate our first wedding anniversary like what usually other couples do. We had no candle light dinner, no night cruising, and no romantic trip. On that day, we spent time together for one full day. Just at home. Just the two of us. Nobody else. We were catching up what we missed lately.
With pure faces.
With pure hearts.
With pure love.
And with our wedding rings that bond us together!

Trip in Japan: @ Kawaguchi

It's been my hubby's dream to go fishing in Japan! Finally we had chance to go to somewhere in Yamanashi area (around 2 hours from Tokyo by train) on 14th-15th June 2008. We went fishing, had Teppanyaki BBQ, and stayed over night in a lodge there. You know what? We managed to catch 10 fish! Well, actually we managed to catch more than 15 fish but we released some of them since we were not able to eat all the fish in one night nor bring them home. On the night, we cleaned, cut, and BBQ the fish! It was very challenging experience to clean all the 10 fish with my husband. Since the lodge also provided other meats and vegetables for BBQ, we only managed to BBQ and eat 4 fish. For the rest of the fish? We left 6 cleaned fish on that BBQ area, I'm not sure if the officer or the cat would eat those fish.


The day after, we went to Kawaguchi Lake to see.... wild grass?? No! It's not grass! It's Lavender!! But unfortunately the Lavender was still baby and the Mt Fuji was not clearly seen due to thick fog. So, we just took pictures with that whatever-you-see-background since we were already there. Anyway, that was a very refreshing trip! ^_^

Trip in Japan: @ Nikko

We visited Nikko, a city nearby Tokyo (around 3 hours drive from Tokyo), on May 24th 2008. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy the real Japan.

I like these last pictures. When I was younger, I saw this ducky-boat for the first time in Sarangan, a small village near my hometown in Indonesia. I was thinking, how wonderful it would be if I was riding it with my loved one. Many times when I was visiting Sarangan again, the lake was always dry. So, the ducky-boat was not able to sail. I thought I wasn't able to ride this ducky-boat for the rest of my life. And, I was so happy when I saw this ducky-boat again in Japan! This time I didn't need to think twice, I nagged my hubby to ride it with me! Childish? Yes, I know I was. But, I didn't care, I was happy!

Trip in Japan: @ Ashikaga

We love flowers! Honestly, we just started loving flowers few months ago since the sakura bloomed! Then, spring came! Other beautiful flowers bloomed! Oh My God! The flowers here are just too pretty, too unique! The purple flowers below are called Wisteria Flowers. We went to Ashikaga Flower Park to enjoy Spring!
