Before Courtship

Almost three years after my sweet 17th birthday party, nothing happened. We never got in touch to each other till we met again on Ron's sister wedding party on 17th December 2000. He started to 'take action' since then. He did many ways for 2 years to 'steal my heart'. Ron went to Australia to visit me in July 2002. He brought this necklace and wore it on my neck. I was so touched to see this necklace with the words "I [Heart] U" written on the pendant! It's my favorite necklace even till now.

This is my Forever Friends' collection, given by Ron in several events, as other ways to 'steal my heart' :P

1. The Santa Clause bear was given when he first started to approach me in December 2000.
2. The 6-mini "FENITA" bears were given in February 2001, my 1st birthday after he started to approach me.
3. The biggest bear was given in February 2002, my 2nd birthday after he started to approach me.
4. The 7-mini "NAVIRIA" bears were given as a reminding gift every year on how many years he had been waiting for my answer. The "N" bear was given in December 2001, the "A" bear was given in December 2002 when he finally got my answer. The "V", "I", "R", "I", and "A" bears were all given at the same time in 2003 after finally we got together. At that time, I just realized that he had actually bought all the "NAVIRIA" bears. I was wondering, since my last name has 7 characters, would he really wait for me till 7 years??
5. The pink bear was given in February 2003, our 1st valentine's day after we got together.

After this pink bear, I never received any more bear from him. I guess, it was no longer the trend after the year 2003? Or because we had been matured a lot after that? Or because this bear's name is "Forever Friend"? We changed its name to "Forever Ronny" after we got together, by the way. Don't laugh! I know, young love is childish. ^_^

Second Meeting

After that wedding party, we never met each other for about 11 years (although we attended the same Junior High School) till our second meeting in my 17th birthday party in 1998. He was my dancing partner! Well, not really a dance. It was just, you know, walking here and there with the music on. It was very popular at that time. I guess it was all God's plan; the person who supposed to be my partner suddenly couldn't make it. Ron also supposed to have University entry exam on that day but it was suddenly postponed, so he could come to my birthday party. He became my partner because my mum thought that he was my relative, so I would be 'safe'. You know, my mum was very strict to her daughters especially when it came to 'guys issue'. Who could predict that...?

On that nite, we were wearing same color of outfit. It was not our purpose, purely coincidental. That was the second time a guy hold my hand.. uhh, by the same guy. After the party, we talked and laughed a lot till the party was over, till we walked down to the parking space together, till we got into our own cars, till we finally said good bye to each other. We didn't get chance to exchange email addresses or phone numbers. Our second meeting was ended just like that.

First Meeting

I met Ron at the first time when I was six years old and when he was seven in 1987 in my uncle's wedding party with Ron's aunt. My uncle married his aunt. He's actually my father's brother's wife's sister's son. In other word, I'm his mother's sister's husband's brother's daughter. Still confused? In simpler words, we are non-blood related relatives.

In that party, we were becoming the small bride and small groom who walked on the aisle after the real bride and groom. Who could predict that we would walk on the aisle again as a real bride and groom 20 years later? That was when I first met him, that was also the first time my hand was hold by a guy (after my dad of course), although he was a little guy, little guy can also be considered as a guy, rite?

My feeling at that time? Honestly, I still can clearly remember what happened in that party now. It's very amazing for a 6-years-old little girl to have a great memory, isn't it? What I always remember are; he was wearing white suit, holding my hand when we were stepping the stairs, and gently offering me a glass of red wine (ermm red fanta actually). After seeing these pictures, well, my memory is slightly not correct. He was wearing black suit at that moment! How could I remember wrong thing? Maybe it's because of my 'dream'. Since young, the prince in my dream wears white suit and rides a white horse.

I don't want to copy the idea that Korean love stories usually use but it really happened to me! He has occupied my heart since that party. The only different thing with Korea movie is, for me 'Occupy' doesn't mean that I couldn't fall in love with other guy, it's just being occupied.. yea, occupied means occupied! I believe you know what I mean, rite? That was my first impression about him.
